After Saratov had changed its status of a closed city a large amount of foreigners have been visiting this city not only as tourists but as students. Several educational centers receive people who willing to get BD, MD, PhD or Academic Degree. Every university has a special department offering the Russian language course. Students of 18 years old and older can attend classes during the whole year.
